The Draper 71285 is a spare clear polycarbonate visor designed to fit the SHEMV Safety Helmet system, allowing the helmet assembly to be returned to full working order without replacing the entire unit. The visor is manufactured from clear polycarbonate, providing optical clarity while offering face protection in line with the EN 166-3B and EN 1731 F specifications. These standards confirm suitability for use in environments where face and eye protection from mechanical risks is required. For reference, the parent SHEMV helmet assembly also incorporates a fully adjustable head harness with a high density polyethylene shell and ear defenders carrying an SNR rating of 25.9dB. The helmet shell conforms to EN 397 and the ear defenders conform to PR EN 352-3 specifications. The spare visor is supplied to restore the face protection element of that assembly. The complete helmet is also available separately if a full replacement is required.
