This Draper spare stone set is the 280 grit option and is designed for use with the compatible cylinder hone covering bore diameters between 51 mm and 177 mm, making it appropriate for cylinders found in cars, vans, trucks, and marine and industrial applications. The stone set is supplied as a direct replacement for use with the cylinder hone whose flexible drive shaft permits easy alignment during operation. Honing pressure on the parent tool remains adjustable to suit the application, and the hone itself is compatible with both electric and air drills up to a maximum working speed of 2400 r/min. The 280 grit designation makes this set suitable where a finer cutting action is required compared with the 180 grit set supplied as standard with the cylinder hone. Additional grades are also available separately, allowing the correct abrasive to be selected for the specific stage of work and cylinder condition. Supplied as one spare stone set.
