Circular saw blades that bind, overheat or leave rough edges are a persistent problem in demanding workshop and site environments. The Draper Expert TCT Circular Saw Blade for Wood with PTFE Coating addresses each of these issues through a combination of precision engineering and protective surface treatment. The PTFE coating improves the ease of the cut, reduces heat in the blade and prevents rusting and resin build-up, keeping the blade in service for longer between maintenance intervals. The blade is laser cut and features micrograin titanium carbide-tipped teeth that deliver thin kerf cuts with minimal material waste. A 2.3 mm kerf, alternate top bevel grind and 15° rake angle combine to produce clean, accurate results across a range of wood-based materials including hardwood, softwood, MDF, chipboard and plywood. Heat expansion slots are laser cut into the body to provide the blade with enough room to expand when it heats up. Anti-friction vents reduce vibrations and limit noise output, helping the blade run true and making it more suitable for quieter working environments. The anti-kickback design prevents the blade from feeding too quickly. The blade measures 250 mm in diameter with a 30 mm bore and a 60-tooth configuration, running at a maximum speed of 5,300 rpm. It is compatible with most 250 mm circular saws fitted with a 30 mm bore and meets the EN847-1 standard. Weighing 0.627 kg, each pack contains one Draper Expert TCT Circular Saw Blade for Wood with PTFE Coating.
