Cutting through hardwood, softwood, MDF, chipboard and plywood demands a blade that manages heat, vibration and resin build-up without sacrificing precision. The Draper Expert 33005 TCT circular saw blade addresses all three with a combination of engineered features working in concert. The blade is laser cut from steel and fitted with micrograin titanium carbide-tipped (TCT) teeth ground to an Alternate Top Bevel (ATB) profile at a 15° rake angle. This geometry produces thin, clean cuts with minimal material waste and a 1.6mm kerf. A PTFE coating applied to the blade body improves the ease of cut, reduces heat build-up, and actively resists rust and resin accumulation — extending service life between cleans. Laser-cut heat expansion slots allow the blade to accommodate thermal expansion safely at speeds up to 7,200rpm. Anti-friction vents damp vibration so the blade runs true, and they also reduce operational noise — a practical benefit in workshop environments where noise levels matter. The anti-kickback design limits the rate at which the blade feeds, reducing the risk of the saw binding or snatching during use. The 185mm diameter blade carries a 25.4mm primary bore and is supplied with 20mm and 16mm reduction bushes, making it compatible with most 185mm circular saws including Draper Stock Numbers 55588, 56791 and 56786. The blade conforms to EN847-1 standard. Weight is 0.205kg.
