Manufactured from high-speed steel, this pilot drill measures 6.35 mm (1/4 inch) in diameter and 102 mm in length, making it suited to the cutting depths demanded by professional workshop and site use. This pilot drill is compatible with Draper Holesaw Arbors stock numbers 56401, 52983, 56387, and 56402 — covering triangular shank arbors in 1/4 inch form, hexagonal shank arbors in 5/16 inch and 7/16 inch sizes, and the 7/16 inch hexagonal shank arbor equipped with a quick-release mechanism. This breadth of arbor compatibility means a single replacement drill can serve across the HSA, HSA2, and HSA3 arbor range without the need to source separate pilots for each unit. Supplied as a single pilot drill and display packed, this is a practical replacement for worn or broken pilots without requiring the purchase of a complete arbor kit.
