Cutting clean, accurate holes for downlight installation demands the right holesaw sizes and blades tough enough to work through the materials typically encountered on site. The Draper 89716 Downlight Holesaw Kit is assembled specifically for this task, offering six blade diameters that cover the most common downlight aperture sizes used in residential and commercial installations. Each holesaw blade is manufactured from high carbon steel with induction hardened teeth, delivering the cutting edge retention needed for repeated use in wood or plastic. The kit is also noted for optimal use in plaster and plasterboard, making it well suited to the surfaces most frequently encountered during downlight fitting work. The nine-piece kit comprises six holesaw blades in 51, 60, 64, 70, 75, and 86 mm diameters, one arbor with HSS pilot drill, and one hexagon key. The inclusion of a dedicated arbor and pilot drill means the kit is ready to use without requiring additional accessories. The kit is display packed, making storage and transport straightforward. With sizes spanning from 51 mm to 86 mm, the kit addresses the range of aperture requirements found across different downlight fittings, reducing the need to source individual blades for each job.
