Variations
Connecting air tool systems that use different port sizes requires a reliable reducing union that maintains a leak-free seal. The Draper 25824 is a 3/8" female to 1/4" BSP female parallel reducing union, designed to adapt between these two common BSP parallel thread sizes within pneumatic and air tool installations. The fitting uses BSP parallel thread form, which relies on a sealing element such as a washer or O-ring at the mating face rather than thread taper, making it suited to applications where a consistent, repeatable connection is required. The union is finished in green, aiding identification within a multi-fitting installation. The 25824 is supplied individually as a sold-loose unit, making it a practical choice when a single replacement or addition to an existing air line assembly is needed. It is listed under the Air Tool Accessories category, confirming its intended use within pneumatic workshop systems.
