All sockets in this set are manufactured from hardened and tempered chrome vanadium steel, providing the structural integrity required for high-torque drive applications. The bit ends are produced from S2 silicon steel and sand blasted for a consistent, accurate fit within security fastener recesses. Each socket incorporates a knurled ring around its body, giving the technician positive grip when locating or withdrawing sockets during use. Chrome plating adds a layer of corrosion protection to the socket bodies. The seven-piece set covers a comprehensive range of TX-STAR® security sizes: T40, T45, T50, T55, T60, T70, and T80. All pieces are supplied on a steel socket retaining rail, keeping the set organised and individual sockets immediately identifiable on the workshop bench or in a tool chest.
