The blade is constructed from high-quality alloy steel body with a hardened M3 steel cutting edge that is welded to the body — a construction method that reduces the risk of shattering and delivers long-term durability in demanding workshop conditions. The variable pitch configuration promotes a fast clean heavy-duty cutting action across a wide range of stubborn materials. Four side slots are incorporated into the body to assist with slug removal after each cut. The holesaw features a female threaded spindle compatible with a 9.5mm arbor allowing straightforward attachment to a power drill. When cutting metal use of a cutting lubricant is advisable to extend service life — Draper Stock No. 76109 Metal Cutting Lubricant (400ml) is recommended for this purpose.
