The Draper 41080 is a heavy-duty variable pitch bi-metal holesaw blade sized at 48mm, designed for cutting wood, steel, brass, bronze, cast iron, aluminium and plastic. Its hardened M3 steel cutting edge is welded to a tough alloy steel body, a construction that makes the blade highly durable, hardwearing and resistant to shattering under load. With a maximum cutting depth of 35mm (1-3/8"), the blade delivers a fast, clean, heavy-duty cutting action in stubborn materials. Four side slots facilitate effective slug removal during use, while the female threaded spindle allows straightforward fixing to a 9.5mm arbor, enabling easy attachment to a power drill. The variable pitch tooth geometry is suited to both thin-section metals and thicker workpieces alike. When undertaking metal cutting applications, the use of a lubricant is advisable to prolong the service life of the holesaw. Draper Stock No. 76109 Metal Cutting Lubricant (400ml) is a compatible option. Supplied as a single 48mm HSS bi-metal holesaw blade.
