The Draper 41074 HSS Bi-Metal Holesaw Blade delivers exactly that: a hardened M3 steel cutting edge welded to a tough alloy steel body, producing a construction that is both highly durable and resistant to the shattering that can afflict lesser blades. The variable pitch tooth geometry supports a fast, clean, heavy-duty cutting action across metals — including steel, brass, bronze, cast iron and aluminium — as well as plastics and wood, to a maximum cutting depth of 35mm (1-3/8"). Four side slots are machined into the body to aid slug removal and keep the cut clear during operation. A female threaded spindle accepts a 9.5mm arbor, allowing straightforward attachment to a power drill. When cutting metal, it is advisable to use a cutting lubricant — Draper Stock No. 76109 Metal Cutting Lubricant, 400ml, is recommended — to prolong service life. Supplied as a single 32mm holesaw blade, the Draper 41074 is suited to professional workshop and site use wherever precise, round holes are required in demanding materials.
