The Draper 41073 HSS bi-metal holesaw blade is a heavy-duty variable pitch design suited to cutting wood, steel, brass, bronze, cast iron, aluminium and plastic with a fast, clean cutting action. The blade features a hardened M3 steel cutting edge welded to a tough alloy steel body. This bi-metal construction reduces the risk of shattering and makes the blade highly durable and hardwearing in demanding applications. Maximum cutting depth is 35mm (1-3/8"). Four side slots aid removal of the slug during use. The holesaw has a female threaded spindle for secure fixing to a 9.5mm arbor, allowing it to be attached to a standard power drill for fast, heavy-duty cutting. When cutting metal, the use of a cutting lubricant is advisable to prolong service life.
