The Draper 41145 is a variable pitch bi-metal holesaw blade designed for cutting wood, steel, brass, bronze, cast iron, aluminium and plastic to a maximum depth of 35mm (1-3/8 inch). The blade is constructed with a hardened M3 steel cutting edge welded to a tough alloy steel body. This bonded construction reduces the risk of shattering and provides durability suited to demanding, repeated use. Variable pitch tooth geometry supports a fast, clean cutting action across stubborn materials. Four side slots are incorporated to assist with slug removal during and after cutting. The blade features a female threaded spindle compatible with a 9.5mm arbor, enabling straightforward attachment to a power drill. When undertaking metal cutting, the use of a cutting lubricant is advisable to prolong service life.
