The 102mm blade cuts to a maximum depth of 35mm (1 3/8 in) and is compatible with a wide range of materials including steel, brass, bronze, cast iron, aluminium, plastics and wood. Four side slots aid the removal of the cut slug, keeping the work area clear and reducing re-cutting of waste material. The blade features a female threaded spindle that accepts a 9.5mm arbor, allowing straightforward attachment to a standard power drill for a fast, clean cutting action. When cutting metal, use of a suitable cutting lubricant is advisable to extend the service life of the blade. Draper Metal Cutting Lubricant (Stock No. 76109, 400ml) is recommended for this purpose.
