The heavy-duty E-weight backing paper underpins the abrasive layer, providing the structural rigidity needed to withstand demanding sanding and finishing work without tearing or deforming. Hook and loop backing completes the assembly, promoting firm, secure adhesion to the sanding platen whilst enabling fast, tool-free disc changes when moving between grits or replacing worn abrasives. The discs are suitable for sanding and finishing applications across a wide range of materials including wood, metal, aluminium alloy, painted surfaces, plastics and fillers. They are compatible with all 200mm bench sanders fitted with hook and loop backing, including Draper's 230V Belt and Disc Sander (Stock No. 98525).
