Achieving a smooth, even surface before painting or finishing requires a sanding block that holds paper securely without slipping or tearing. The Draper 15044 Sanding Block is a two-piece design fitted with metal pins that grip sanding paper firmly, sandwiching it in place to prevent movement during use. This pin-retention system ensures consistent contact between the abrasive surface and the workpiece throughout the sanding stroke. Changing the sanding paper is straightforward: simply split the two-piece block apart, remove the worn sheet, fit a fresh piece, and reassemble. There is no need for adhesive or clips, making paper replacement quick during preparation work. The block is supplied display packed and comes as a single two-piece unit. Suitable for hand-sanding tasks in painting and decorating preparation, the Draper 15044 is a practical addition to any decorator's toolkit for prepping surfaces prior to priming or finishing.
Two piece sanding block that's fitted with metal pins to securely sandwich sanding paper in place. Easily change sanding paper when desired by splitting the sanding block apart.
