Draper stock number 60161 addresses this directly with a pack of ten 125mm gold sanding discs formulated from aluminium oxide and treated with calcium stearate, a combination that delivers self-sharpening action and active anti-clogging performance throughout the life of each disc. Each disc is resin bonded to a heavy-duty D-Weight backing paper, providing the structural rigidity and durability needed to withstand demanding material removal and finishing work. Eight pre-punched 8mm holes are positioned across the disc face to improve dust extraction during use, keeping the work surface clear and extending abrasive life. The hook and loop backing facilitates fast disc changes between grits without the need for tools or adhesives. The assorted pack spans five grit grades — 120G, 180G, 240G, 320G and 400G — with two discs per grade, covering the full progression from initial material removal through to fine finishing. These discs are suited to sanding and finishing wood, metals including ferrous alloys, painted surfaces, varnish, plastic and fillers. The 125mm diameter and hook and loop backing make these discs compatible with all 125mm random orbit sanders fitted with a hook and loop backing pad, including Draper stock numbers 58097 and 89522.
