Sanding discs that clog prematurely or wear quickly are a common source of frustration in professional finishing work. Draper's 58111 gold sanding discs address this directly through a calcium stearate treatment applied to an aluminium oxide abrasive, which delivers self-sharpening and anti-clogging performance across a wide range of materials. The abrasive is resin bonded to the disc for consistent cut throughout the life of the disc. The heavy-duty D-Weight backing paper provides the structural rigidity needed to withstand demanding sanding tasks, making these discs suitable for sanding and finishing wood, metals including ferrous alloys, painted surfaces, varnish, plastic and fillers. Eight pre-punched 8mm dust extraction holes are evenly distributed across the disc to improve the evacuation of abraded material during use, helping to maintain a cleaner working surface and clearer view of progress. The hook and loop backing system allows fast disc changes between grits without tools, maintaining productive workflow on site or in the workshop. These 125mm discs are compatible with all 125mm random orbit sanders fitted with a hook and loop backing pad, including Draper Stock No. 58097 and 89522. Supplied as a pack of 10 discs at 120 grit.
