This pack of ten 1/2 sanding sheets (115 x 230mm) from Draper meets that need through a combination of premium quality aluminium oxide abrasive and resin bonding, which improves grain adhesion, imparts anti-static qualities and extends working life compared with conventionally bonded sheets. The heavy-duty E-Weight backing paper underpins the abrasive layer, providing the rigidity and durability necessary to withstand the toughest sanding jobs without tearing or deforming mid-task. On the reverse, the hook and loop backing delivers secure attachment to compatible pads whilst enabling rapid sheet changes, keeping downtime to a minimum. Fourteen pre-punched 8 mm holes are positioned to align with the dust-extraction ports found on most 1/2 sanders, channelling abraded particles away from the work surface for a cleaner finish and improved operator visibility. The sheets are confirmed compatible with most 1/2 hook and loop sanders, including Draper Stock No. 57941. Suitable substrates include wood, metal, aluminium alloy, painted surfaces, plastic and fillers, making these sheets a versatile consumable for both preparation and finishing stages. Each pack contains ten sheets sized 115 x 230 mm in 40 grit.
