The double-injected fibreglass shaft delivers increased strength over the head-to-handle junction while providing overstrike protection, guarding against the shock and stress that commonly causes shaft failure at the collar. The head weighs 5 lb (2.2 kg) and the handle measures 36 in (900 mm) in length, giving a balanced working reach suited to ground-level digging and cultivation tasks.
