These high-performance cloth sanding belts from Draper address that challenge through a combination of electrostatic sand planting and an open-coat aluminium oxide grain, which work together to promote efficient chip removal and heat dissipation during extended sanding sessions. The aluminium oxide abrasive is resin bonded to the backing for efficient resistance and long-lasting performance. A special butt joint design minimises the effect of vibration across the work surface, contributing to a smooth and even finish throughout the belt's travel. The strong X-weight polycotton cloth backing gives the belt both flexibility and durability, enhancing loading intensity and allowing it to be used across a range of pressure applications without premature breakdown. Each belt measures 150 x 1220mm and carries a 120-grit aluminium oxide abrasive, making them suitable for sanding and finishing wood, metal, aluminium alloy, painted surfaces, plastic and fillers. They are compatible with all 150 x 1220mm belt sanders, including Draper Stock No. 98423. Supplied as a pack of two belts.
