Achieving a smooth, consistent finish on wood, metal and other surfaces demands an abrasive belt that combines cutting efficiency with durability. Draper's 9410 cloth sanding belts address this through a combination of electrostatic sand planting and an open coat aluminium oxide grain, which together promote effective chip removal and heat dissipation during prolonged use, reducing the risk of clogging and surface damage. The aluminium oxide abrasive is resin bonded to a strong X-weight polycotton cloth backing, making the belt both flexible and durable. This backing enhances loading intensity and allows the belt to perform across a range of pressure applications without compromising its integrity. A special butt joint further minimises vibration across the work surface, contributing to a smooth and even finish throughout the cut. At 150 x 1220mm and cut to a 40-grit grade, these belts are well suited to sanding and finishing wood, metal, aluminium alloy, painted surfaces, plastic and fillers. They are compatible with all 150 x 1220mm belt sanders, including the Draper sander supplied under Stock No. 98423. Each pack contains two sanding belts.
