Sanding and finishing tasks demand abrasives that resist clogging and maintain cutting performance over time. This pack of ten 150mm gold sanding discs is manufactured from aluminium oxide and treated with calcium stearate, a combination that delivers self-sharpening and anti-clogging performance during extended use. The abrasive layer is resin bonded to the backing, ensuring secure adhesion throughout the working life of each disc. The heavy-duty D-Weight backing paper reinforces the disc construction, making it capable of withstanding the toughest sanding and finishing applications. The hook and loop backing provides firm adhesion to compatible backing pads while allowing fast disc changes between grits or when a disc requires replacement, reducing downtime during production work. Six pre-punched 8mm dust extraction holes are positioned to improve the removal of sanding dust during operation, helping maintain a cleaner working surface and clearer sightlines on the workpiece. At 180 grit, these discs are suited to sanding and finishing wood, metals including ferrous alloys, painted surfaces, varnish, plastic and fillers. These discs are compatible with all 150mm random orbit sanders fitted with a hook and loop backing pad, including Draper Stock Nos. 65084, 83942 and 84125. Each pack contains ten discs.
