Sanding and finishing tasks demand abrasive sheets that maintain consistent cutting performance and resist premature breakdown. This pack of ten 1/2 sanding sheets (115 x 230mm, 80 grit) from Draper addresses that requirement through a combination of premium quality aluminium oxide abrasive resin bonded to the backing, which provides improved grain adhesion, anti-static qualities and long-lasting performance. The heavy-duty E-Weight backing paper reinforces the sheet structure, making it more durable and able to withstand the toughest jobs. The hook and loop backing system offers decent adhesion and is designed to facilitate the fast changing of sanding sheets, reducing downtime on the workpiece. Fourteen pre-punched 8mm holes are positioned across the sheet to improve dust extraction when used with a compatible sander, helping to keep the work surface clear and extend abrasive life. The sheets are suitable for sanding and finishing wood, metal, aluminium alloy, painted surfaces, plastic and fillers. Compatible with most 1/2 sanders fitted with a hook and loop pad, including Draper Stock No. 57941.
