Keeping sanding surfaces free from clogging is one of the most common challenges in finishing work, and these gold sanding discs are engineered to address it directly. The aluminium oxide abrasive receives a calcium stearate treatment that provides self-sharpening and anti-clogging performance, allowing the disc to cut consistently throughout its working life. A resin bond locks the abrasive to the heavy-duty D-Weight backing paper, which adds durability and resistance against the demands of tough sanding jobs. The hook and loop backing delivers firm, reliable adhesion to compatible sanding pads whilst enabling fast disc changes when switching between grits or replacing worn discs. Fifteen pre-punched 8mm holes are positioned across the disc to improve dust extraction during use, helping to maintain a cleaner work surface and extend disc life. At 150mm diameter and 180 grit, these discs are suited to sanding and finishing wood, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, painted surfaces, varnish, plastic, and fillers. They are compatible with all 150mm random orbit sanders fitted with a hook and loop backing pad, including Draper Stock No. 58097 and 89522. Supplied as a pack of 10.
