The heavy-duty D-Weight backing paper is central to the roll's versatility: it provides the flexibility and durability required to withstand the toughest jobs, conforming to irregular surfaces without tearing under load. The roll is suitable for sanding and finishing wood, metal, aluminium alloy, painted surfaces, plastic and fillers — making it a practical choice across bodywork, fabrication and general workshop applications. Measuring 115 mm wide and 5 m in length at 60 grit, the roll can be cut to any required length for hand sanding or loaded directly into compatible 1/2 sheet sanders, including Draper Stock No. 57941. Each pack contains one sanding roll.
