Sanding and finishing tasks demand an abrasive that stays sharp and resists clogging throughout the job. These 125mm gold sanding discs from Draper (Stock No. 59856) address that challenge through an aluminium oxide abrasive treated with calcium stearate, which is resin bonded to deliver self-sharpening and anti-clogging performance across extended use. The heavy-duty D-Weight backing paper reinforces each disc to withstand the toughest sanding applications, while the hook and loop backing provides reliable adhesion to the backing pad and enables fast disc changes without interrupting workflow. Eight pre-punched 8mm holes are positioned across the disc face to improve dust extraction during sanding, helping to maintain a cleaner working environment and a clearer view of the workpiece. At 400 grit, these discs are suited to sanding and finishing a broad range of materials, including wood, metals and ferrous alloys, painted surfaces, varnish, plastic, and fillers. They are compatible with all 125mm random orbit sanders fitted with a hook and loop backing pad, including Draper Stock Nos. 58097 and 89522. Supplied as a pack of ten discs.
