Each bit contains 5% cobalt, which increases heat hardness and helps extend the working life of the bit compared to standard HSS. The 135° split point is self-centring, reducing the need for a centre punch, lowering thrust, and aiding easier penetration. Efficient swarf clearance channels keep the flutes clear during drilling, reducing the risk of clogging and helping maintain cutting performance. The five bits are stored in a high-density case for safe keeping between uses.
