Accurate boring in all wood types demands a bit that starts cleanly and tracks true throughout the cut. The Draper Expert SDS+ Auger Bit 22 x 230mm is precision machined from medium carbon steel, fully hardened and ground to deliver perfect concentricity with every pass. Its unique flute spiral carries an accurately ground and honed cutting edge along its entire length, maintaining clean chip clearance and consistent bore quality from entry to exit. The spur tip bites positively into the workpiece surface, eliminating wander and ensuring an accurate drilling start every time. The SDS+ type shank is compatible with SDS+ power tools, making the bit suitable for use with the wide range of rotary and combination hammer drills that accept this fitting. Supplied individually and packed in a hang-up plastic tube for convenient storage and presentation on the workshop rack.
