What sets this bit apart is its unique flute spiral, which features an accurately ground and honed cutting edge along its entire length — not merely at the tip. This design promotes consistent chip clearance and reduces the risk of binding as the bit progresses through timber. The spur tip geometry ensures accurate and positive drilling starts, preventing the bit from wandering on the work surface and allowing the operator to position holes precisely without pilot drilling.
