Flap discs present a common challenge in grinding and finishing work: maintaining consistent abrasive contact across both flat and contoured surfaces without frequent disc changes. Draper 82961 aluminium oxide flap discs address this through a T-29 conical shape with 15 to 25 degree angled flaps, allowing the disc to follow contoured profiles and flat-edged workpieces without losing cutting efficiency. The discs are resin bonded and backed with an X-weight polyester-cotton construction, which provides the combination of flexibility and strength required for medium to high-pressure grinding and finishing applications. The 40 grit aluminium oxide abrasive delivers fast material removal suited to aggressive stock removal and weld preparation, as well as sanding and general grinding tasks. These flap discs are suitable for use on metal, carbon steel, stainless steel, sheet metal, wood and plastic, and are compatible with 115mm angle grinders fitted with a 22.23mm bore. Each pack contains 10 discs at 115 x 22.23mm.
