A cable tie is a temporary answer to a permanent question - fixed runs need a bolted, lined clip.
JCS describes its P-clips as suited to the most challenging environments, and the PNSH16BG carries that specification at 16mm closed diameter: a TPE160 high-temperature liner rated -50C to +160C, UV and ozone resistant, wrapped in a ribbed band that bolts flush through an 8.8mm M8 fixing hole. Fixings are not supplied - pair it with your standard M8 hardware.
Specified with the heavier M8 fixing, this range pairs the 304 stainless band (18/8, EN 1.4301) with the TPE160 liner as standard - the combination for hot, wet or exposed runs where both the fixing load and the environment are demanding. Zinc and stainless are made to identical dimensions, so material is a free choice at the same mounting. The liner is UV and ozone resistant, so outdoor runs do not degrade it.
Also available - the zinc plated version (PNZH16BG); the 13mm size (PNSH13BG); the 19mm size (PNSH19BG).

A. Its closed diameter is 16mm - match that to the outside diameter of the pipe, hose or cable you are fixing. If you need a size that is not listed, JCS makes non-standard sizes on request. That is approximately 5/8 in, if you work in imperial.
A. The TPE160 high-temperature liner absorbs vibration and prevents chafing of the item being clamped. It is UV and ozone resistant and rated for service from -50C to +160C.
A. No - fixing nuts and bolts are not supplied. The clip has a 8.8mm hole to suit an M8 bolt.
A. Pick by environment, not fit: 304 stainless for outdoor, wet or corrosive runs, zinc plated (coated even on the cut edges) for general indoor and light industrial work. The two are dimensionally identical, so the mounting never changes.
A. The TPE liner is UV and ozone resistant, and the clip is available in heavily zinc plated steel or 304 stainless steel for outdoor and corrosive environments - choose stainless where conditions are persistently wet, and match the closed diameter to the tube you are fixing.
A. Yes - the design brief covers pipes, hoses and cables alike. The liner cushions the sheath against chafe and vibration, which matters as much on an armoured cable or air line as on a coolant hose. Size by outside diameter.
