Product Number: PESH8BG
When a line must cross a panel, frame rail or wall, the fixing has to grip without chafing what it holds.
The PESH8BG is a JCS lined P-clip with an 8mm closed diameter, sized to wrap a pipe, hose or cable of that outside diameter and bolt it to a surface through its M10 fixing hole (10.8mm). The TPE160 high-temperature liner absorbs vibration and prevents chafing, is UV and ozone resistant, and is rated for service from -50C to +160C. A strengthening rib in the band keeps the clip flush against the mounting face. Fixing nuts and bolts are not supplied.
At the top of the fixing range, the M10 version bolts through a 10.8mm hole for the heaviest mounting points - in 18/8 304 stainless with the TPE160 high-temperature liner as standard, it is specified where structure, heat and weather all bear on the same run.
Also available - the zinc plated version (PEZH8BG); the 6mm size (PESH6BG); the 10mm size (PESH10BG).
Non-standard sizes and liners are available from JCS on request - this catalogue size is the stocked, off-the-shelf format.

A. Its closed diameter is 8mm - match that to the outside diameter of the pipe, hose or cable you are fixing. If you need a size that is not listed, JCS makes non-standard sizes on request. That is approximately 5/16 in, if you work in imperial.

A. The liner is UV and ozone resistant, so sunlight does not degrade it, and the band comes in zinc plated or 304 stainless for outdoor duty - stainless where it stays wet. Size the clip to the outside diameter of the tube or pipe being fixed.
A. Yes - the design brief covers pipes, hoses and cables alike. The liner cushions the sheath against chafe and vibration, which matters as much on an armoured cable or air line as on a coolant hose. Size by outside diameter.
A. They do different jobs: a hose clip seals a flexible hose onto a rigid fitting, while a P-clip fixes a pipe, hose or cable to a surface - holding it in place rather than sealing it.
