Routing a hose or loom is only half the job; keeping it fixed, cushioned and off sharp edges is the other half.
The PNSH40BG is a JCS lined P-clip with a 40mm closed diameter, sized to wrap a pipe, hose or cable of that outside diameter and bolt it to a surface through its M8 fixing hole (8.8mm). The TPE160 high-temperature liner absorbs vibration and prevents chafing, is UV and ozone resistant, and is rated for service from -50C to +160C. A strengthening rib in the band keeps the clip flush against the mounting face. Fixing nuts and bolts are not supplied.
The M8 range is the step up in fixing strength - same lined-clip principle, bigger bolt. In 18/8 304 stainless it serves outdoor and corrosive duty, with the TPE160 high-temperature liner fitted as standard across the range. JCS recommends letting the application decide the specification - what the line carries, the temperatures it sees, and how corrosive the environment is.
Also available - the zinc plated version (PNZH40BG); the 36mm size (PNSH36BG); the 44mm size (PNSH44BG).
Non-standard sizes and liners are available from JCS on request - this catalogue size is the stocked, off-the-shelf format.

A. Pick by environment, not fit: 304 stainless for outdoor, wet or corrosive runs, zinc plated (coated even on the cut edges) for general indoor and light industrial work. The two are dimensionally identical, so the mounting never changes.
A. The TPE liner is UV and ozone resistant, and the clip is available in heavily zinc plated steel or 304 stainless steel for outdoor and corrosive environments - choose stainless where conditions are persistently wet, and match the closed diameter to the tube you are fixing.
