A pipe or cable left to rattle against the chassis wears through long before its service life is up.
Sized at 13mm closed diameter with a 6.6mm hole for an M6 bolt, the PCZH13BG fixes pipes, hoses and cables to panels, frames and structures. Its TPE160 high-temperature liner - rated -50C to +160C - cushions the line against vibration and chafe and resists UV and ozone, while the ribbed band sits flush to the surface it is bolted to. Nuts and bolts are not included.
The band is mild steel, heavily electro zinc plated on every surface - JCS plates after cutting, so even the cut edges are coated - making it the general purpose choice for indoor, automotive and light industrial routing. Dimensions are identical to the stainless version if the environment later demands an upgrade. With the TPE160 liner rated to +160C, it is the version to specify where heat builds - engine compartments, exhaust-adjacent runs and hot plant. For mixed runs, note that the 13mm size shares its fixing dimensions with its material twin. At 13mm closed diameter this size sits between its neighbouring catalogue sizes - measure before ordering.
Also available - the standard liner version (PCZR13BG); the 304 stainless version (PCSH13BG); the 12mm size (PCZH12BG); the 16mm size (PCZH16BG).

A. P-clips are sized by closed diameter, and this one closes at 13mm - so it suits a pipe, hose or cable with a 13mm outside diameter. Measure the OD, not the bore; non-standard sizes are available from JCS on request. That is approximately 1/2 in, if you work in imperial.
A. The TPE160 high-temperature liner absorbs vibration and prevents chafing of the item being clamped. It is UV and ozone resistant and rated for service from -50C to +160C.
A. Pick by environment, not fit: 304 stainless for outdoor, wet or corrosive runs, zinc plated (coated even on the cut edges) for general indoor and light industrial work. The two are dimensionally identical, so the mounting never changes.
A. The liner is UV and ozone resistant, so sunlight does not degrade it, and the band comes in zinc plated or 304 stainless for outdoor duty - stainless where it stays wet. Size the clip to the outside diameter of the tube or pipe being fixed.
A. Yes - the design brief covers pipes, hoses and cables alike. The liner cushions the sheath against chafe and vibration, which matters as much on an armoured cable or air line as on a coolant hose. Size by outside diameter.
A. A hose clip makes a joint seal; a P-clip makes a run stay put. If the problem is a leak at a fitting, you want a hose clip - if the problem is a line that moves, chafes or rattles, you want this.
