When a fleet of machines shares one clip size, the stores bin needs depth - and a clip specification that holds across every fitment.
The HGZ90BP is a Hi-Grip worm drive clip adjusting between 70-90mm. Its band edges are fully rounded to protect the hose, and the hex screw is cold-headed and work-hardened with rolled threads, so it resists slipping or rounding under the driver. Tighten incrementally to the recommended 6.0 Nm (54 lb-in); over-tightening is what damages hoses. The range is manufactured to exceed BS5315 and carries the BSI Kitemark and NATO approval.
This is trade depth in one box - 10 clips of one size, zinc plated and passivated over mild steel with the plating applied after cutting. Intended for non-corrosive domestic, automotive and industrial service; for wet or salty duty JCS points buyers to its stainless range. One Hi-Grip covers a wider span than a typical nut-and-bolt clamp, so fewer bins cover more hoses.
Also available - the same clip as a trade bag (HGZ90BG); the 60-80mm size (HGZ80BP); the 80-100mm size (HGZ100BP); a 304 stainless version in the same size and pack (HGS90BP).

A. It adjusts between 70-90mm. Measure the outside diameter of your hose when fitted over its pipe or fitting - if that measurement falls within 70-90mm, this clip fits. JCS clips offer a larger adjustment range per size than typical nut-and-bolt clamps. In imperial terms that is roughly 2 3/4 to 3 9/16 in, covering common 3 and 3 1/2 in hose sizes.
A. For this size band JCS publishes a recommended torque of 6.0 Nm (54 lb-in). Work up to it gradually with the clip seated centrally on the barb; going past it risks damaging the hose rather than improving the seal.
A. The band is heavily electro zinc plated and passivated, tested to EN9227, and JCS plates the steel after cutting so the cut edges are coated too. It is intended for non-corrosive environments such as domestic and light industrial use - for wet, salty or chemical-exposed duty choose the Hi-Grip Stainless version.
A. JCS advises against zinc plated clips in marine conditions, where they can corrode or seize. For boats and other saltwater environments use Hi-Grip Stainless, which is 18/8 marine-quality 304 stainless steel with Lloyd's Register Type Approval.
