Worm drive clips seal by drawing the band evenly through a captive screw housing, and the HGZ200BP adds the JCS details that make that reliable - a 170-200mm adjustment span, a cold-headed, work-hardened hex screw with rolled threads that will not round off, and fully rounded band edges. Recommended tightening torque for this size is 6.0 Nm (54 lb-in). Manufactured to exceed BS5315, Kitemarked and NATO approved.
The bulk pack of 10 is the stores format for fleets, production and hire equipment running the same size across many machines. The clip itself is unchanged: heavily electro zinc plated and passivated mild steel, EN9227 tested, plated after cutting so even the band's cut edges are coated - for domestic, automotive and industrial duty in non-corrosive conditions. For repeat fitment, record the 170-200mm range against the hose specification so reorders match first time.
Also available - the 150-180mm size (HGZ180BP); the 190-220mm size (HGZ220BP); a 304 stainless version in the same size and pack (HGS200BP).

A. It adjusts between 170-200mm. Measure the outside diameter of your hose when fitted over its pipe or fitting - if that measurement falls within 170-200mm, this clip fits. JCS clips offer a larger adjustment range per size than typical nut-and-bolt clamps.
A. For this size band JCS publishes a recommended torque of 6.0 Nm (54 lb-in). Work up to it gradually with the clip seated centrally on the barb; going past it risks damaging the hose rather than improving the seal.
A. JCS electro zinc plates and passivates the mild steel band after it is cut to size, so even the cut edges carry coating - and the finish is tested to EN9227. That suits dry and general duty; once salt or standing moisture is involved, the stainless range is the correct specification.
A. No - JCS itself cautions that zinc-coated clamps can quickly corrode or seize around salt water. The marine specification is Hi-Grip Stainless: 18/8 304 stainless throughout, with Lloyd's Register Type Approval.
