When a coolant or air line starts seeping where it meets the fitting, the fix is rarely a new hose - it is a clip that holds its clamping force.
The HGZ60RP is a Hi-Grip worm drive clip adjusting between 45-60mm. Its band edges are fully rounded to protect the hose, and the hex screw is cold-headed and work-hardened with rolled threads, so it resists slipping or rounding under the driver. Tighten incrementally to the recommended 6.0 Nm (54 lb-in); over-tightening is what damages hoses. The range is manufactured to exceed BS5315 and carries the BSI Kitemark and NATO approval.
Made from heavily electro zinc plated and passivated mild steel, tested to EN9227, it suits general purpose work in non-corrosive environments - domestic, automotive and industrial hose connections. Measure the outside diameter of the hose when fitted and choose the clip whose range covers it. JCS supplies leading agricultural machinery manufacturers, and the same clips serve garden machinery, workshop and light industrial pipework.

A. It adjusts between 45-60mm. Measure the outside diameter of your hose when fitted over its pipe or fitting - if that measurement falls within 45-60mm, this clip fits. JCS clips offer a larger adjustment range per size than typical nut-and-bolt clamps. In imperial terms that is roughly 1 3/4 to 2 3/8 in, covering common 2 in hose sizes.
A. For this size band JCS publishes a recommended torque of 6.0 Nm (54 lb-in). Work up to it gradually with the clip seated centrally on the barb; going past it risks damaging the hose rather than improving the seal.
A. The band is heavily electro zinc plated and passivated, tested to EN9227, and JCS plates the steel after cutting so the cut edges are coated too. It is intended for non-corrosive environments such as domestic and light industrial use - for wet, salty or chemical-exposed duty choose the Hi-Grip Stainless version.
A. No - JCS itself cautions that zinc-coated clamps can quickly corrode or seize around salt water. The marine specification is Hi-Grip Stainless: 18/8 304 stainless throughout, with Lloyd's Register Type Approval.
