Size the jack or hoist to the heaviest GVW with at least 25% margin (so a 3.5-tonne van workshop wants a 4-tonne or 5-tonne jack minimum). Manual brush-and-soak washers are the lowest-cost choice — suitable for occasional component cleaning where each component goes through manual brushing in a degreaser bath.
