Reading a worn or small-scale vernier scale quickly and accurately is a common frustration in the workshop. The Sealey S0707 Digital Electronic Vernier Caliper removes that problem with a large 8mm LCD display that presents readings clearly, even in poor light or when working at an awkward angle. Built from lightweight carbon fibre, the caliper covers a measurement range of 0-150mm (0-6") with a resolution of 0.1mm (0.01") and accuracy of ±0.1mm (0.01") across the full range. It reads in both metric and imperial, with instant conversion between the two at the press of a button useful when working from mixed technical drawings. The zero setting control allows comparative measurement, letting you set a reference point and measure deviation from it directly. Powered by a single LR44 battery, supplied in the box.
