The Sykes Pickavant 53331500 Prism/Vee Pipe Jaws are 150mm-wide insert jaws designed to fit the Sykes Pickavant 150mm vice.
The vee profile distributes the gripping force across multiple contact areas, providing secure holding for round work during cutting, drilling, threading, fitting, and similar operations. Without prism jaws, round workpieces tend to rotate under any applied torque, making accurate work difficult and potentially dangerous.
The 150mm width matches the Sykes Pickavant 150mm vice format, providing full-width coverage of the vice jaws. Equivalent prism/vee jaws are available for the smaller 100mm vice (53331000) and larger 180mm vice (53331800), allowing workshops with mixed vice sizes to standardise prism jaw protection across their bench equipment.
