The Sykes Pickavant 14241400 Centre Nut Converter solves this directly, allowing the conversion of 1500 Series twin and triple puller heads from hydraulic to mechanical operation.
The centre nut fits the 1500 Series twin and triple heads and accepts an M24 force screw, enabling the puller to be driven mechanically rather than hydraulically. This makes it possible to use existing 1500 Series heads in applications where mechanical force application is preferred or required.
To complete the conversion, an M24 force screw must be sourced separately. Two compatible options are available: part number 08291100 at 292 mm in length, or part number 08611100 at 217 mm in length. The centre nut itself measures 25 x 25 x 10 mm and weighs 0.5 kg.
This converter is a dedicated accessory for the Sykes Pickavant 1500 Series range and is not a standalone tool. It extends the versatility of an existing 1500 Series puller investment, allowing the same twin or triple heads to operate in both hydraulic and mechanical configurations.
