The Sealey RCD981 RCD Safety Adaptor provides automatic protection by cutting power within 50ms whenever an imbalance is detected between live and neutral, helping to protect against electrocution. Simply plug the adaptor into any standard 13A socket no wiring required and connect your appliance as normal. With a maximum operating current of 13A and a maximum load of 2990W, it is suitable for a wide range of electrical appliances. The 30mA trip current meets BS 7071:1992. In the event of a general power failure, the RCD will not automatically reset, meaning anything plugged into it will not automatically restart. Two-button operation makes it straightforward to use, and there is no need to remove the unit from the socket to reset it after a trip.
