Working in dusty or particulate-heavy environments without adequate respiratory protection puts your health at serious risk. The Sealey SSP80PAPR combines a deluxe polycarbonate face shield with a Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) system to deliver a constant filtered stream of clean air to your head and face throughout your working day. Powered by a rechargeable 3Ah lithium-ion battery, the unit provides up to 8 hours of operating time at low speed (6-8hr approx.) or 4-6 hours at high speed, with a charging time of approximately 3 hours. Airflow is adjustable between 150 and 180L/min to suit your working conditions. The filter assembly consists of a foam pre-filter and HEPA filter, reducing and removing dust and particles note it is not designed to protect against vapours or gases. The kit meets performance class TH2 according to EN 12941:1998/A2:2008, and the face shield conforms to BS EN 166, Optical Class 1, Impact Grade F. The polycarbonate visor offers increased protection, stability, and durability, while the ratchet adjustable headband with front and back padding ensures comfortable extended wear. An audible alarm alerts the user to low battery or low airflow conditions. Suitable for use with standard glasses. Operating temperature range is -5°C to +55°C.
