Stripped, corroded or paint-clogged components demand thorough surface preparation before any finishing work can begin. The Sealey SB970 is a heavy-duty steel shot blasting cabinet built for exactly that task, giving you a controlled blasting environment large enough to handle bulkier workpieces with ease. Two large side doors each 525mm wide with a height range of 240-430mm open to accommodate awkward or oversized parts that would be impossible to work on through a single front aperture. The toughened glass viewing screen (485 x 275mm) is fitted with integral low-voltage illumination so you can see exactly what you're doing, and a pack of 10 screen covers is included to protect the glass from abrasive damage during use. A 34mm dust extraction port keeps the working atmosphere clear for an unobstructed view throughout the blasting process. The cabinet operates at 60-125psi with a 1/4" BSP inlet and an air consumption of 10cfm. Hand protection is provided by heavy gauntlets, and the cabinet is supplied complete with a sand blasting gun and three spare ceramic nozzles. Overall dimensions are 695 x 580 x 625mm (W x D x H), making this a substantial but well-proportioned cabinet for a professional workshop bay.
