The heavy-duty chassis incorporates a powerful twin-piston quick-lift feature that reduces the number of handle strokes needed to raise a vehicle, improving efficiency during routine lifting tasks. The large saddle aids accurate positioning beneath jacking points, while the integrated rubber saddle pad provides added protection to the vehicle's underside during operation. An EVA foam bumper is supplied with the jack to protect vehicle panels, and the two-piece handle is included as standard. A safety valve prevents the jack from overloading, providing a critical safeguard when working at the jack's rated capacity. The unit has a 3 tonne (3,000 kg) capacity, a minimum height of 133 mm and a maximum lift height of 465 mm, making it suitable for a wide range of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. The 110 mm saddle diameter, 1,150 mm handle length and 690 mm chassis length contribute to stable, controlled operation. Net weight is 30.7 kg. A hardwearing nylon wheel kit, designed to prevent damage to showroom and garage floors, is available separately. The Draper 16407 is manufactured to EN 1494 specification, the European standard governing the performance and safety of mobile vehicle lifts and lifting jacks.
