Getting full access to the underside and sills of a vehicle especially older narrow-chassis classics or modern cars with awkward sill profiles is a persistent challenge with conventional lifting equipment. The Sealey PPL01 Portable Pivot Car Lift solves this with a 1500kg capacity lift that can be operated manually or with an electric drill producing 90Nm or more (do not use an impact wrench, as this will damage the mechanism). Three adjustable width settings of 775mm, 1130mm, and 1530mm mean the PPL01 accommodates narrow chassis vehicles such as MGs and other small classic cars, as well as modern wider vehicles, while still leaving the sills and edges clearly accessible something fixed-arm lifts often obscure. During lifting, the PPL01 can be stopped and locked at any height across three locking positions, with a maximum lift height of 585mm, so you can set exactly the working height you need. Once raised, the platform can be tilted forwards or backwards to provide greater access to the underside of the vehicle. Always use suitably rated axle stands before working beneath a raised vehicle. The overall footprint at minimum width is 1185 x 775 x 160mm (W x D x H). Please note: this item is heavy extra assistance must be arranged at the delivery point to ensure safe unloading.
