The Draper Expert 16765 Extension Bar Set offers a set of four chrome vanadium steel bars — 50, 100, 150 and 250 mm in length — covering a range of reach requirements from short to long extension work on a 1/4" square drive. Each bar is manufactured from chrome vanadium steel that has been hardened and tempered, then finished with a polished chrome surface for durability and corrosion resistance. A knurled ring is incorporated into every bar to provide a positive, secure grip when positioning the socket or applying torque. A spring-loaded ball bearing retains the socket firmly in place during use, reducing the risk of a socket dropping into a hard-to-access area. The set is manufactured and tested generally in accordance with DIN 3122 and ISO 3315 specifications, providing a recognised benchmark of dimensional and mechanical quality. The four-bar assortment — 50, 100, 150 and 250 mm — ensures the correct length is always to hand, whether working close to a component or extending well beyond an obstruction.
