Reaching fasteners in confined or awkward spaces is one of the most common challenges in workshop and automotive work. The Draper Expert Wobble Extension Bar (SKU 16717) addresses this directly through a machined wobble end that allows the socket to be driven at up to 15° to the vertical, providing the angular clearance needed when working around obstructions. Manufactured from chrome vanadium steel that has been hardened and tempered, the bar carries a polished chrome finish that contributes to both corrosion resistance and ease of cleaning in a working environment. A knurled ring is incorporated into each bar to provide a positive grip surface when positioning or withdrawing the extension by hand. The socket is retained securely by a spring-loaded ball bearing, which prevents accidental disengagement during use. The bar is sized at 75mm in length and is fitted with a 1/4-inch square drive, making it compatible with the extensive range of 1/4-inch drive sockets in the Draper Expert range and other conforming socket sets. Manufactured and tested generally in accordance with DIN 3122 and ISO 3315 specifications, the bar is produced to defined quality and dimensional standards appropriate for professional workshop use.
