The Draper 16724 Expert Extension Bar addresses this need with a 3/8-inch square drive and a 45 mm length suited to close-clearance fastener access. Manufactured from chrome vanadium steel, each bar is hardened and tempered then finished with a polished chrome plating for corrosion protection. A knurled ring is incorporated into the body, providing a positive grip surface when fitting or removing the bar by hand. Socket retention is handled by a spring-loaded ball bearing, which holds the attached socket securely during use and prevents unintended disengagement. The bar is manufactured and tested generally in accordance with DIN 3122 and ISO 3315 specifications, confirming it meets recognised dimensional and performance standards for square-drive extension bars. It is supplied as a single unit: one Extension Bar, 3/8-inch Sq. Dr., 45 mm.
